Help with Skill

Hi im trying to remake the skill Spectral Dagger from Dota, i will try to explain the skill for those ones that dont play dota and dont know the skill.

Spectral Dagger :
a dagger is thrown an it trails a shadow path , deals damage to the targets in
its path . Units hit by the dagger will also trial a shadow path , spectre gains 0 collizion size when on shadow path .
can target unit enemys trees debris , it can target allthings just like shockwave.

im just trying to remake the blue coloured things .

I searched and i found that thread but i didnt helped me , that's why i started this one .
