Help with Timers!

Ive been trying to create a timer that goes off in five minutes and when it goes off the players lose. Here what i got but it dosent work

Events
Map initialization
Conditions
Actions
Countdown Timer - Start Timer as a One-shot timer that will expire in 300.00 seconds
Set Timer = (Last started timer)
Countdown Timer - Create a timer window for Timer with title Time to Finish

Variable
Timer is a Timer variable.
Any help is welcomed :thup:

I don't think Timers can be started with "Map initialization" use Time - Elasped game time is 0.00 seconds

You have an action here.. but what are the events to happen that the trigger is firing it's actions?

I suggest you add an event like:
Time - Elapsed game time is 1 second

has they both said, a timer window cannot be displayed at map initialization and has they said, put

• Time - Elapsed game time is 0.00 seconds

Same for MULTIBOARD, and, LEADERBOARD.
When you have one of the create box of these actions, it's written at the bottom
'cannot be displayed at map initialization'

And a countdown timer that goes up

You created the board, but did not have the show action in there. Make sure to go to Countdown Timer ->Show/Hide Timer, and set it to show to all players. Also, as mentioned above, do not start a timer with map initialization.

Starting a timer at map init is no problem.

What doesn't work is the timer window.
Map init happens in the loading screen, and the timer window needs the game screen to appear.
Same with multi- and leaderboards.

On a related note, don't create dialogs either at map init.
