Hitpoints Show all the time

Anyone know got the code to have hitpoints show over the character at all times? Just like when you press "alt" and hitpoints show above the units.

you dont really need jass for that. just make a pernament floating text and every 0.1 seconds move it and set its text.

well thats not so possible...
but you could make a floting text like this

it wont be so pretty but it would probably do the trick.
i can give you the code, just tell me what exactly do you want.

I've seen that in some TD map (don't ask me which) for displaying a permanent mana-bar - It doesn't look great, but gives you some idea.

I wasn't able to figure out how it did this, but there was some system in the Bomber Commanders map (made by Blizzard) for showing a permanent blue bar.

You can do this with dummy units and a special model. Or with special effects, kinda like the progress ones in the bomber command blizzard map

How is that done with special effects? I looked around in that map a while ago and I don't -think- I saw any custom models or special effect things, but maybe I wasn't looking in the right place.

Bomber Command uses "SetTextTagText" (Floating text).

"Train Plane / Train Plane Functions", there's a couple "training bar" functions of interest.

I don't look at maps' code. By the time I played I was telling the guys that make project revolution that they should use models for the protoss shields' bars they agreed and all but whe I played this map I though they were models.

Wasn't there some limit in how may texttags you can have at the same time?
