how to hide attack ground button

hi mates, as the title says:
how to hide the attack ground button when using artillery attack type with a unit?
note: the units got to have artillery attack type i wont change it to missle.

Make it have two attacks, showing only 1, make your primary artillery attack the 2nd one and use a dummy attack for the 1st.

I don't know why you don't want missile, you can always uncheck "homing".

I don't think there is a way of removing command buttons.
You could however look here and try to disguise the button or something.

i cant hide the artillery button by giving a unit 2 attacks, also my units aint heroes so both will be displayed.

and theres a big difference between artillery and missle attacks, missles do attack the point the target is running to while artillery does always attack the current position of the targeted unit.

@romek you can't hide the attack ground button by changing its position to something negative can you?

This prolly won't work but what the heck, you know you can change the icons of the thingys, import a transparant icon on the path of the attack ground thing. However if they hover over it with their mouse they still see the discription but maybe you can change that somewhere.

but even if they wont see the icon nor the description they are still able to use it...

hm, well. this would work, but i would prefer to make the button not even appear without removing the artillery attack type.

I imagine, I also would prefer an any unit damage event, and such ^^

Setting a button position to something negative will crash the map.

what exactly are you trying to do? have a unit with splash that cannot attack ground? if that's the case give it an ability based off of like orb of fire

no, my unit got to have artillery attack type, its kinda difficult to explain it to you right now, but it seems as i wont be able to remove that button anyway.

i had a similar problem that i solved by using missile (splash) instead of artillery, and just uncheck missile homing. That the unit will still miss some attacks and it will do splash damage to an area if the attack misses
