I Need Unique Ideas! +Rep

I'm in the phase where I am really BORED and I want to make a map.
Can someone give me unique ideas for a map?

I was looking at your DP and it gave me the idea of 3rd generation units V old generation units,


Like you could have Space Orcs and Aliens and stuff,

and then you could have normal orcs and knolls and orges and stuff. sounds like fun and the space age stuff would be heaps stronger but the old stuff would just have heaps of them. =)

I really don't think that is unique. We already have Island Defense and other games like that. I want game ideas that are original.

I already said no. That isn't original. It's just another game with custom models.

How about this idea, you are trapped in a dungeon and you must progress through levels with your friends to get to the end. It is not a traditional game where you must kill things and stuff but in this one, you must use your skills and wits to get past traps, monsters that kill you when they get near, puzzles, stuff like that. People respawn if someone completes a stage.

Well, if you're really looking for unique ideas...


You are a renowned pastry chef who has become lost in the middle of a large forest. The forest nymphs have offered to show you the way out of the forest if you will cook a batch of pastries for them. Normally this would be easy to do using the small camping stove and spare ingredients you carry around in your backpack. Alas, a band of swamp goblins attacked you and stole all of your ingredients. The only way to retrieve these ingredients is to track down the swamp goblins and kill them. But first, you need to level up and gather some items by going on an epic series of trading quests and answering a couple of standardized-test-style math problems.

Also, name at least one of the characters in your map Arnold.

I KNOW! YOU Could make one of those infamous "PORN" maps

Seriously: I'd Like to see a single player map, where you are a fighter jet with arrow key movement (you controle altitude with up and down, turning with right / left) and you could controle throttle via abilities, and you have a large variety weapony, created through abilities. It would be great fun, you could even create a campaigne, with various levels / stages.

I WOULD PLAY IT!

what about a skating maze, where the whole maze is compromised with ice, and you have to be able to manuver really good and skate through a series of levels. after each level theres a new area at the end. one leading mayb to icecrown glacier then you skate to teh lich king then you go down to the nerubian temple then mystaclly pop underground, then appear somewhere in ashenvale forst and skate your way to kalimdor, skate accross the frozen water to lorderaen (cant spell =\ ) and make it like an epic adventure, on ice!

how about a GunGame ?
you make a map kinda like snipers then when a unit gets killed it replaces a weapon with another weapon, ofc it will need lots of attachments but it would be cool

Make a team game, 2 players per team... 1 player on each team builds units and heroes and every 2 minutes or so all of player 1s fighting units are given to player 2 and matched up with another teams units, which they must then fight... player 1 gets bonus gold / lumber based on how many matches player 2 wins after 25 matches or so team with best win loss ratio wins.

Kind of like combining Builders and Fighters with a Micro Arena.

Would be simple enough, and yet challenging for you..
Then again, it depends on what you like to do the most. If you hate triggering, stay away from Pacman

During the great war, when the humans close the portal to the Demon world, 8 Goblins found themselves on the wrong side of the portal. To get home, they need to reopen the portal. However, due to the destruction of the previous portal, the machinery are all broken with vital part flung all over the place. Can they collect all the parts and reassemble the device before being devoured by demons?

- Maze Map
- 8-12 NPC Demons are running over the place.
- There are broken piece of equipment over the map (Item)
- There are 4 structures (1/2 build) situated at the 4 corners

[SIZE="+1"]How to play:[/SIZE]
- Each player controls Goblin.
- Goblins only have traps (mines, statis wards)
- Traps do not kill demons, they only restrain them for a time


[SIZE="+1"]Goal:[/SIZE]
- Complete the 4 structures until they are full HP while avoiding the Demons.
- Collect components and place them within the repaired structures

I am still working on my last project, it is almost 1 month pass the deadline i set for myself, but I was busy, so it will take much longer.

I don't need any credits or whatsoever; This is just a sketchy idea and needs lots of time for creation and balancing....
Who knows the final product might not even be close to what I have originally planned.....

Not the greatest of concepts but a game where you have to go out in the wilderness and hunt critters of different colors and speeds to attain resources to better yourself so that you can eventually kill other hunters.
