Integer isn't reducing

Hi,

I'm trying to make a selection system and it should work but it doesn't seem to, you'll probably see what i'm trying to do if you open the map but here's the code.

If (nextInt Greater than -1) then do (Set nextInt = (nextInt - 1)) else do (Do nothing)

And I've attached the map.

I had it like that before but I did it so it only had one bunch of code like that, did that way work for you? It didn't for me, it did the same thing as the way I had it :S.
