Lets say a unit has permanent invisibility. When it casts a spell, is the spell animation invisible? What if it cast on another friendly invisible unit? Can the enemy see the spell?
Permanent Invisibility fades when one takes an action other than moving, so naturally yes, you can. If you set it to a 0.01 cooldown, it's likely you won't. Or you can go the easier route, and make them have no model. Yes, both enemies and allies would see.
I'm assuming you're trying to create a dummy caster?
it depends on what skill u used...
but since what ur saying is about permanent invi = spells invi...
answer is:
still visible...
if u want to make a invisible spell u need to remove the art - missle or any art on the object editor to make it look it invisible...
Well my idea was to get something that you and allies could see, but the enemy couldn't. Such as a dummy casting a drain spell on another dummy to get a line effect only visible to allies. However I achieved the same effect by making dummy unit with permanent invisibility and the model of a projectile patrol back and forth.
Thanks though!
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
I'm on a page about incorrect corrections, and spent the better part of like two hours trying to get someone to understand that -5^2 = -25, not 25, and then that post had comments get reposted because that group is self sustaining, and that person was in turn trying to explain what I just explained to them. And I'm taking that as a victory
