Is there a text version of all Abilities in wc3?

I basically need a big txt file with all ability stats in so I can search it for keywords, is there a way to make this?

Your best bet is just looking up each unit individually at:
http://www.battle.net/war3/races.shtml

If you want, you could always just copy and paste each ability into a spreadsheet. Then you'd have all the abilities in 1 place to search through.

Well yes if there is Copy as text function for abilities
if not it is practically impossible

This was one of the thoughts "to do" I had awhile ago. Since then I've had no time. Maybe someday someone will do it. Till then new people will just have to guess and experiment.

Use an MPQ editor to open up the file war3.mpq. That has the AbilityData.slk for RoC abilities. Then open the mpq for TFT, I forget its exact name and pull the same file out of there.

Ah tnx for that, I found slk file and my suspitions were right

Hex is the only spell that has checking for creep lvl

So if you need magic that will be sensitive to creep lvl
you have to base it on hex

And Devour, but that has a hard to change effect

Charm's the best one to employ, cause you can just change the unit back to its original owner.
