Item Cooldowns - Need Help

I have made some custom items with active abilities, but when i use them the cooldown timer won't show up. I have tried nearly anything. Can anyone help?

I would be very happy if somebody could help me with it, it is the last big thing i need in my map, before it is ready to be released.

Most of them are from Warcraft 3.

Also make sure that the item's active ability is the first in the item's ability list.

More then likely you've just tried changing the fields for the actual item.

If you want the item to cooldown you have to change the ability inside the item. also make sure the ability actually is in the item -_- I made that mistake last night.

i think it's the very top field in the object editor

Abilities - Chain Lightning < --- that means the item contain chain lightning.

now I think if you want the cooldown to work your going to have to edit the spell chain lightning...

Stats- ignore cooldown - False.

there is a field in the item that sais Stats - Ignore cooldown make sure you have that one turned to false
