knockback spell problem: units get stuck on cliffs

I have a spell which pushes enemy units away by setting their X/Y. However, sometimes they get pushed into trees/cliffs and become stuck. I fixed the tree part by destroying any nearby trees at the X/Y location.

what's the most common way to check if a certain X/Y is not desirable to move a unit too? I can't seem to find the condition "loc(X/Y) == unwalkable"

he, thx. What I needed was not the system you gave me but in the thread somebody said about the native "isTerrainPathable" that's what I needed :thup:

For some reason IsTerrainPathable() is backwards, too. If you insert walkability and it IS walkable, it will return false instead of true.
