Moving Doodads on the Z axis

I seem to recall (back when I was making maps before) that you could move doodads along the Z axis (i.e: up and down).
Is it still possible? How?

Hold CTRL key and hit pageup, pagedown. Works great.

you were going so well with that map, then you just gave up? what happened?

FYI for everyone else:

scam_ent was one of my first "customers" when I had just been made moderator of this forum back in early 2003. I was helping him make a cool 3rd person RPG map a little in the style of the diablo games.
