my keyboard doesn't work and I tried everything. help pls

hi all. my keyboard is going wacko. the only things that work on it are ex: the shortcut key for outlook, internet etc. if i press numlock for example, it doesn't activate/deactivate it. nothing but the shortcut keys at the very top work. can someone help pls.
