Need help regarding my laptops ac adapter fast

Okay i have like 40 min of battery left so i need help. What possible things might've occured to stop the adapter from feeding power to my laptop, the light on the adapter is shining and seems to functioning fine, but the laptop itself is not receiving this power... can someone tell me what has happened? Thanks.

Also if this might help, it just came back from repair, this problem was one of the reasons i sent in to asus for a warranty sanction repair but it came back the same, apparantly they replaced the FAN, the CPU and the Display but the system was not recovered meaning all my previous data is intact.

So, after you received your laptop from repair, and they replaced the ones you've mentioned, does the laptop draw power from your adapter?
