Hi,

I would like to buy a new graphic card, but I don't know if my motherboard supports it.

The old graphic card:nVidia® Geforce FX5700 V9570 TD 128MB DDR(ASUS®)

The new graphic card: EVGA® 9600GT 512 MB GDDR3 GeForce 9600 GT (Superclocked 675 MHz GPU 2 DVI-I -HD TV out) .

The Motherboard:K7 Triton series; GA-7N400 Pro2 (GIGABYTE®)

Tell me if you need any other informations. If there's a graphic card that would work better (Around 200$) please tell me.

Thanks.

Your motherboard uses AGP x8 Graphix cards, the one you're looking @ is PCI-E 2.0.
So yes, you do need a new motherboard.
However, I suggest going ATI with a 4850 or 4870 video card and a MSI K9A2 Platinum motherboard. That is if you have the cash to burn, it would need a bunch of new parts.
