Phoenix Fire [healing ability]

is that possible .. ? and how I've tried setting targets to allied and dmg to negative values ... but is something hardcoded about this spell that cant let me use it like an healing ability ?

Actually I've created an ability like this and yes it works.

Really? Using Phoenix Fire? Maybe your targets are off, try putting friend, allies and player units as well as the standard ones you'd be using.

No triggers are needed for this, be sure to edit the right Phoenix Fire ability, don't edit the (Flyer) one.

Funny, because I've tried Phoenix Fire with negative damage and it did not heal. Could you post an example map with the ability successfully healing?

I tested it, and it worked partly.
When you put the base damage to negative, it heals.
But when you put the DoT to negative, it still deals damage.

Yeah, it works.
One interesting thing that happens when you "heal" a unit which has Mana Shield this way: the unit will get bonus mana instead of bonus HP (or a bit of both depending on the shield resist percentage).
