Trigger:
  • Preserver Texture Change
    • Events
      • Unit - Any Unit Enters (Entire map)
    • Local Variables
    • Conditions
      • (Unit type of (Triggering unit)) == Preserver (A)
    • Actions
      • If
        • Player color = Red
      • Then
        • Actor - Send actor message (TextureSelectById RedPreserver***) to main actor of unit (Triggering unit)****
    • ********Make an If statement for each color the player can pick********


*** This would be the name of the red preserver texture.
**** Note that to send that message, when you select the message, switch from value to function and find "Texture Select By ID". You should then get a Texture parameter below it that you can set to your variable.

I think this would work, however I am not positive.

EDIT: Look at the map that you downloaded that contained the textures. Look at their triggers and CnP them into your map. They are made to set it as the units' team/player color.

No problem, all I had to do was read the thread that those textures came from and the creator said that he made triggers to apply them.

How would i go about editing this to activate after a unit has morphed.

Unit - Any Unit Enters (Entire map) does not seem to count morphing as entering the map.



Fixed it :)
