The gm10500 is a "pimped-up" Aries: Subtract one MPE, add one MIPS 4Kec and pump up the clock.

Well, at least that way the technologie gets into some TV sets ...

Cool, neat to see that the tech is still being used in some way - not as fun as playing video games with it though

It would be interesting to know if they had any further development on this platform. Or maybe they did upgrade to it?
