Quest Special Effects

Well I just realized there is no point to this... Since warcraft is not client sided when one player gets the quest... everyone gets the quest. It sucks but oh well. I guess I just have to make it open quest so when one person gets a quest/when one person finishes a quest it goes for everyone. But only the doer gets the reward.


IF im wrong please tell me.

dunno about clinet side stuff but my idea about "?" "!" would be creating sized floating text above unit. then you can hide it for each player separate

Ever heard of "GetLocalPlayer()"?
It executes actions for only one player.
So you can make a quest for one player.

And show the effect for one player (Although you actually change the path of the effect to avoid desyncs)

Actually no. Please explain more on create a quest just for one player. Cause I was just about to delete all my quests I made so far. Thank you for bringing this up. So yes, please explain!:thup:

edit: I looked this up a little and just to let you know i'm not good at JASS. I haven't really used it.
