Want to ask if [ljass]readonly[/ljass] members are depreciated? Read it on the JASS manual, but stated "It is a nonstandard at the moment, so you shouldn't use it on public releases."

readonly works really well, basically it's a safe mechanism that prevents the user from modifying vars outside the encapsulation, but be able to read them

Yes, sometimes people would ask you to make values readonly to prevent bugs.

I once made a post about readonly members and Vexorian replied that they are a standard and that he hasn't gotten around to updating the JassHelper docs.
