Mustard Battered Fried Fish

This mustard base fried fish recipe provides a unique mustard taste to your fried fish. Mustard lovers Rejoice!

Ingredients:
  • One third cup prepared mustard
  • One eighth teaspoon Lawrys Seasoned Salt
  • One eighth teaspoon Lemon Pepper marinade
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • One and a half teaspoons of Worcestershire
  • Tabasco to taste or Franks Hot Sauce I put that shit on everything just saying!
  • One eighth teaspoon black pepper
Directions:

The Batter:

  • Mix above ingredients to make a batter for coating the fish. Yields enough batter for 1 or 2 pounds of fish pieces.
Frying the Fish:
  • Salt and pepper fish.
  • Liberally coat each fish piece with mustard batter.
  • Roll in corn meal.
  • Place oil in frying pan and heat to 425 or 450 degrees.
  • Drop coated fish into oil and fry until golden brown.
Note:
Yields 4 to 5 servings
