Reducing Hero Level via triggers

Is this possible?

:) So far with:

Event - A unit dies.
Hero - Revive triggering unit instantly at ____
Hero - Set (reviving hero) hero level to 1, hide level effects.

This doesn't seem to work :( Is it actually possible to reduce a hero's level? I'm trying to make it so every time the hero dies, their level resets to 1, without just removing the unit and creating a new one. I have also tried 'triggering unit' instead of reviving hero, with no luck :(

Sorry for yet another new thread by me! ;)

Have you tried to change the (reviving hero) with (dying unit)?
Or try to change both of (triggering unit) and (reviving hero) to (dying unit). Maybe it will work.

Try this, If you have a certain hero you wanna revive. else change -
Conditions to:
((Dying unit) is A Hero) Equal to True

(Unit-type of (Picked unit)) Equal to Survivor Tent (After)
(Owner of (Picked unit)) Equal to (Owner of (Dying unit))
Then - Actions
Hero - Instantly revive (Dying unit) at (Position of (Picked unit)), Hide revival graphics
Camera - Pan camera for (Owner of (Dying unit)) to (Position of (Dying unit)) over 1.00 seconds
Wait 1.00 seconds
Hero - Set (Dying unit) Hero-level to 1, Hide level-up graphics
Else - Actions

I have tried this with both Dying unit for all and Triggering unit for all (apart from the picked units, obviously), it still doesn't work! What thing am I missing?
