Shadow Meld (Unrestricted on time of day)

I've created a 3 level Shadow Melt hero ability based on Akama's Shadow Melt. It costs mana and has a duration and cooldown, which are the only notable changes. I then went on to make this trigger:

Trigger:
  • Untitled Trigger 001
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability
    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to Shadow Meld (Hero)
    • Actions
      • Unit - Add Permanent Invisibility to (Triggering unit)


The idea was that when the unit casts the ability, it becomes invisible but cannot move. It would have the same effects as the Night Elf Shadow Melt aside from the requirement of night-time. My problem is that the unit does not actually go invisible as it should. Why is this?

it's because you are using wrong event, change begins casting to starts the of ability
