What is involved in balancing a race in WoW?

Starting stats are overall negligible, then there are 3~ racial abilities. And comparing Horde racial abilities to Alliance, it's obvious they don't give a shit about balance with those

(If you meant class, not race - then that's a whole different story)

What's involved with balancing an entire race in an RTS?

Well, first of all there's what, 10-20 independent units. Each needs to initially be very basically balanced compared to the other races. Then you have to consider what units counter what. Then balance every unit's ability. Balance every unit's monetary price and upkeep costs...
They are designing SC2 to be as balanced as possible so it will be THE game for professional gamers to play competitively.

Including me, Blizzard messed up enough in making WoW [IMO], adding a new race would just make me end my relationship with blizzard completely

I won't vote right now as we only saw the Protoss really.

Once we get a better overall view of the 3 races I will vote.

I'm always tempted towards the mysterious and so I would vote Zerg (since we only saw couple things), but I'll vote later.
