Trigger spell problem - wait action

Hi everyone, im having a problem. I'm trying to use action "wait" for some spells and it's like it waits forever and never does what is next.
I put every hero in game a spellbook called buffs. It has auras withouth AoE to be used as buffs and them have 2 levels of more, the first one it just does nothing, and its when its not activated so it can stay in the book, and the other levels have their effect.
Now i wanted to make skills that triggered make those buffs go to level 2 so them can have their effect, then wait 60 seconds and after that, set the buffs again to level 1.

Unit start the effect of a ability

Ability being cast equal to Shield

Pick every unit in (units within 125 of target point of ability being cast)
Set level of Shieldbuff for picked unit to 2
wait 60 seconds
Set level of Shieldbuff for picked unit to 1

Now the problem is that it stays forever on level 2! What should I do? :( .
And anyway you can imagine to improve the spell or simplify it is very welcome.

Using wait cancels 'picked unit'
Right after the first action put
Set shieldGroup = last created unit group
Then replaced 'picked units' to shieldGroup ==> obviously, shieldGroup is a unit group variable ;3

Really it cancels it? Oh and I should Make a global if I want the spell work in multiple instances, right?
