Using Unit Classification text as a cosmetic/just for the text?

My game basically has different "classes" of units and I'd like to show what class a unit belongs to in the UI when the unit is selected. However if I give a unit classification then my units will gain the properties of that classification (like undead) and I do not want that, I just want the text.

Is there a way to disable/change the properties of those classifications? or even better an alternative way to get input text there?

You can change this now in User CP.

Game interface -> text - unit classification. Though you are limited to just 4 classifications and there is no way to make units not being influenced by it.

i appreciate your help but obviously the only real problem i have is to make it not influenced by the properties.... but at least i know it can't be done. it's optional for my map anyway so nothing important.

This is just a shot in the fog.

You could give each type of units a dummy ability which either shows an aura or something, or just shows a buff in the interface.
