A lot...

To make your computer faster:

First off all, run a adware scan and a defragmention, it´s Free. (Use "Spy Sweeper" Use google to find it)

Things you could buy:

Nvida gforce 4 256mb
DDR/SD RAM
If you not allready are useing Windows XP pro, that could allso make the games run better.

You might wanna check if you have enough RAM.
For Windows XP/2000 Systems I recommend a minimum of 384MB of RAM and strongly recommend 512MB of RAM. 256MB is not enough and Windows will try and use ALL of it so if you try and run Waracraft III on it and then close, it will take some time for windows to swap info in and out.
For Windows 9x/Me sustems I recommend a minimum of 192MB of RAM and strongly recommend 256MB of RAM. This is because Win9x/Me systems require less RAM to sustain operations.

Or what you can also do is check your internet connection. For example if you have broadband but share it by using a router, other people might cause some periodic lag since they're using the internet too.

Control Alt Delete
Click on Performance Tab

Physical Memory and look at Total. Type on the digits you see on that.

Don't know his computer specs, but I do know he's on a Cable Modem and he's using it for Warcraft III. (He lags like hell)

If you look under A little note to new visitors thread, there's a link for a program to see what you have for hardware in your computer.

Post back with your results, and we can help you recognize what pieces of hardware are slowing your computer down the most.

Main hardware specs needed:
CPU/speed
RAM (speed too if you can)
Video Card
Harddrive (free space available also)

LOL too much info. But it'll do :D:rolleyes:
But anyway, look. Basically, a Celeron 900MHz is the potential cause of the problem.
Celerons are budget CPUs. Essentially, they are 86ed Pentium III CPUs. They have like 4 way assosicative addressing compared to the Pentium III's 8 way (reduces performance about 33% or so) and their L2 cache is havled. Meaning more performance bottlenecks.
2nd, Windows Me = Bad bad bad!
3rd, 128MB of RAM is the minimum for Warcraft III. There's your main problem.
I would suggest getting 256MB of more RAM or 128 at the least. You should see performance increase dramatically. Oh, and it owuldn't hurt to upgrade your OS and CPU sometime... especially OS, Windows Me sucks. Period.
