Help with landmine spell

How could i make a simple spell that creates landmines that explode when enemies come near?

This is actually a preset spell.
In WC3 Object Editor, look for a unit called Goblin Land Mine. All the info that you need is within the unit's ability.

Well that's just it i can't find it in object editor.I looked under Neutral passive and hostile both meele and campaing i still can't seem to locate it.

Use the search function (Ctrl+F) in the Object Editor, units tab, and check that you're spelling it correctly, it's in there somewhere. Neutral Hostile/Campaign if I remember correctly.
The actual ability that places the mine is called 'Item Place Goblin Land Mine'.
