Tanking and Vengeance

With tanks receiving a new ability/passive Vengeance with their 51 talent trees, there’s been many questions and speculation around this ability and Blizzard has given us a little Q&A on the subject answering some questions and clearing some confusion. Vengeance was designed to give tanks something to be able to keep up with the damage output of DPS classes as gear improves. The basic mechanic works by giving tanks an attack power buff equal to 5% of the damage recieved up to a total maximum of 10% of your characters health. So if we see a tank with 100,000 life, expect the buff to provide an extra 10,000 attack power.
