Weird error message

A friend and i have just started working on a map. I started the map and after some days i send it to him. He worked on the map a bit and then i got it back. But now i can't start a LAN game with the map. It says: "The map filename is too long or contains invalid characters" but the filename is exacly the same as my version which works perfect. I've tried to change the name to "a" but the same message appears.

Do you have any ideas on how to fix this or how to prevent it from happening in new maps?

try:

copying and pasting the map and opening that one

opening the map in the editor and resaving it

check that the map has its read-only attribute disabled. right click on it and select properties and its listed there

make sure both you and your friend are making the map using the same version of warcraft 3

after that, i can't really think of too much else, as i have never heard of this problem before....
