Can someone explain the basics of the azeroth grand prix in GUI?

i mean the "following camera", the movement and the machinegun?

i can't get the movement right... i use intantly move but the walking animation doesn't play when i periodically move the unit instantly...

need help here..

hmm i cant help you on the machine gun but a tutorial for the RPG like camera can be found at www.projectmapmaker.com in the forums under tutorials

about the animation: have you also add'ed the action "play animation" in your trigger wihere you move the car

i just found a movement system that fits perfectly..

i now wonder how could i use power-ups? i mean just like in the racing game which you just run over and you just activated it... something like that...

i think you know what i am just saying right?

Make the power-up a unit with power-up model. Use a trigger "a unit comes in 200 range of your racing car", in conditions check if the unit is equal to the power-up unit. Then do the desired actions.

Speed power up on

Event: a unit comes in 50 range of Speed power up [COLOR="Red"](speed up item)[/COLOR]

condition: triggering unit equal to Racing car

action: add ability speed to triggering unit
           turn trigger Speed power up off <gen> on

Speed power up off (check the intially to off)

event: unit cast ability

condtion: ability being cast equal to Speed

action: remove ability speed from triggering unit
