Two suspects wanted for shooting at a police officer were turned in Wednesday by their mother.

This all stems from an attempted traffic stop in Holly Springs early Tuesday morning.

Around 4:30 in the morning Tuesday, a Holly Springs police officer says he attempted to pull over a vehicle driving erratically with no headlights on.

After a brief pursuit, at least 2 shots were fired from the suspect’s vehicle.

"I don’t play no games with them. If you want to do the crime you gotta do the time— Plain and simple,” said the mother shortly after turning her 17 and 18-year-old sons into police.
