Are YOU excited for "The Hobbit: An unexpected Journey?"

Lord of the Rings fans, in theory, should be jumping for joy at the thought of "The Hobbit"
However, from what I've read about what Peter Jackson (Director, and director of the LOTR trilogy) plans to change, my faith has been shaken.

For example, I've read he plans to have Sauron in physical form at "The battle of five armies" (referred to in the movie has "the battle of five legions)

Anyone have any thoughts on this move?

I've been waiting for this for years. I mean, I still have the cartoon version of this movie, had it for years. Cannot wait to see Smaug, that's the one thing they really didn't show.

I hope this movie has a sex scene.

I can't ever enjoy a sex scene unless it's in a porno. In a porno, it belongs. In a real movie... I can't think of a single time it's progressed the story in a meaningful way. Kinda leaves me sour, to be honest. I hate that they need to have them in every single movie.

The Hobbit: An Expected Journey

Peter Jackson's return to Middle-Earth with the Hobbit delivers as expected. It's visually pleasing and the acting is fine as always, though for those who aren't huge fans, the pacing can be a bit a slow at times.
The creation of the world is amazing, just as with the Lord of the Rings. The cinematography and design is absolutely beautiful. Once again the world is brought to life, very colorfully this time. I watched it plain without 3D or HFR, but the showing in 4K is great to see.
Both old and new cast members performed excellently. Martin Freeman fits in as Bilbo very nicely, and it's also wonderful seeing familiar faces.
At 166 minutes, the film is quite long and stretched. A good first half can be seen as boring, but fans of Tolkien will love the details provided. However, once the action picks up its non-stop adventure that is thoroughly entertaining.
Overall, an Unexpected Journey gives a good introduction to the trilogy. It's good, not great, but I eagerly await parts two and three.

That aside, I loved it. I think that whatever comments/complaints people have with this is fine, because now the back story is set up, leaving just continuous adventure throughout, and there's plenty of time and room to improve for parts two and three. I highly recommend seeing it, the 4K was seriously beautiful.

Yeah, three parts. I know this seems bad but Tolkien later released appendixes and notes that expanded upon the Hobbit and the Middle-Earth world. And trust me when I say it's a lot. There's so much in the whole world, I think if they use it and don't just stretch one story (there are plenty of other stories in the Hobbit timeline), it will be very interesting.

Ah, I do recommend seeing it at theaters though, and not just because it's good. A big part of the Hobbit is how visually beautiful it is, and seeing it on the widescreen with the 4K HD resolution really adds to it.

Have read the whole story of this movie in book but I think movie is much better then book....because graphics are too awesome of this movie.. I'll give them 9/10 rate to this movie..
