I looked into the gameplay constants to see what I could do about how much damage reduction you get from armor points.

Sadly I could only find one constant which isn't helpful to me at all.

Basically because of the formula that constant uses, no matter what I do with it, added damage reduction will exponentially decay as you add more armor.

My question is, is it possible to alter some wc3 file and put it into the map to change the formula of that constant? (something along those lines)

Why I want this? I want it so that 1 armor gives a constant amount of damage reduction.

Well with the current gameplay constant you can change the multiplier constant within the formula, which basically makes armor gives less reduction or more reduction per point. However, the exponential decay of DR remains.

I really just need to know if it is possible to change a built in formula for this specific map.

Not planning on coding the reduction system since I'd rather have the armor icon/value on the hero pane actually have a use.
