attack ground question

you know how meat wagons/demolishers have a target or circle at the location on the ground where your mouse is pointed when you're attacking ground?

how do i get that target to show up when i have a rifleman attack ground? because the mouse disappears at the moment, making attack ground a hard task lol

I believe giving him attack type of siege will do.

Do you have anything in the object editor for your unit under "Combat - Attack 1 - Area of Effect..."? The circle should show the area of the least damage the attack will do.

I have Area of Effect Full Dmg - 3
Area of Effect Medium Dmg - 2
Area of Effect Small Dmg -1

XD That means 3/2/1 PIXELS. Try at least 50.

Area of Effect damage - try 25/50/75.

and make sure you are using Artillery as the attack type.

By the way make the small damage's radius bigger or it will only do full damage in a radius and the other two AoE fields are useless.
