Best Ability For Dummy Ability?

I need an ability with no built-in effects (like banish) and no DoT or EoT like (Faerie Fire), as these will throw my "Unit is Attacked" event.

I assume you want a unit target ability?
Well Channel is your best choice, but not everybody knows how to set up Channel correctly. Other choices would be Spirit Link or Entangling Roots, for example.

And no, damage abilities will not fire Unit Is Attacked, as that only fires when attacked with a standard A-button attack.

Someone should make a channel template, with all these channel abilities set up (like Single target, AoE target, Single target channel, AoE target channel, etc.)

If I remember correctly, default channel has some really strange settings (channeling, disables other abilities, wierd cast time).

I set up channel and it works fine except, no tooltip to learn the ability? What?.....

Otherwise, I THINK it might be that you didn't type anything in for the Tooltip - Learn and Tooltip Extended - Learn.
