Best GUI load/save system.

im in need of some help.
i currently made a save/load system for my rpg, it woulds like a charm no buggs what so ever. but then i realised its going to be way to long for what i need and people will just qq about the length of the text.
could any1 suggest a great save/load system that i can study to improve mine or just totaly revamp and start it again.
