functions that have BJ as their sufix are usually slower so you should avoid them when possible. however since the difference is minor you can use w/e you want.

Saw this in another thread and it got me thinking, im using a lot of BJ functions. Is there always a corresponding function without the "BJ" that is faster? Or maybe most of the time?

There's always a "better" function. (Well, I guess. There might be the odd exception).

Get an MPQ viewer and extract Blizzard.j and common.j from the MPQs.

Or use Jass Shop Pro. Every non-native is described there. You can easily search for them and all the stuff.
