Channeling Spell Help

Hi, I need help with a channeling spell. Channeling lasts 10 seconds. And has a looping effect. It's based on earthquake and deals damage target area every second. I have done this part. But If caster finishes or stops casting, I want to stop all effects as you may guess. I am begginer in JASS and don't know vJASS.

So you have a channeling spell and you create additional stuff when you cast it?
There are different ways.
For example you can detect when the unit stops casting an ability, and turn off the stuffcreating trigger.
Or, you can add a condition to the repeating timer trigger that checks the unit's current order.
