Check whether Spell is on cooldown?

Is it possible to check whether a spell is on cooldown or not?

i only know one way....

you make a dummy spell with a buff having the same duration the cooldown is...if the unit casts the spell order the dummy to cast the dummy spell onto another dummy and then you can check whether the targeted dummy has the buff or not....

thats the only way i know...hope it helps you^^

or time stamps (advanced jass)
