Confusion ability idea

Hi
I've had an idea, but I can't seem to make it work. I haven't tested it fully, but I thought it might be fun to see what everyone in here could come up with anyway :D

What I want to do is use the "wander" ability that most neutral critters have, to make the affected unit/units walk around in confusion :)confused:) a while, unabling user control of the affected units :)mad:) for the duration.
Kinda like the Fear ability (or whatever it's called) in WoW you could say. That's where I got the idea. :p

As I said I haven't really explored all possibilities, but I very much look forward to everyones ideas! :)

make a unit variable: confTarget
make a special effect variable: confSFX

Actions:
-set confTarget = target of ability being cast
-change ownership of confTarget unit to neutral passive
-add wander to confTarget
-create your special effect attached to overhead of confTarget using ...
-set conSFX last created special effect
-wait (20 * level of Confusion for casting unit) seconds
-remove wander from confTarget
-destroy confSFX
-change ownership of confTarget back <---not sure of the exact command for this one

Ahh, that should do it. I think that's what I needed.
Real neat to have a look at it lined up like this when I've only had most of it in my head before :)

K... problem arised. I simply wont work, just as before I first posted. Once in a while the target stop and wont attack back (I guess, having become NeutralPassive) and then after the duration, it's all back to normal.
I never get anything to randomly move around as intended :banghead:
Think "Cinematic - disable User control" is a solution? but then the player can't access any his units, right?
