Create a copy of the (saved-game) and name it (variable-string)

Plzz help

i need to make a copy of the saved game file, when the player will press SAVE GAME and name it (variable-string)

or

just,save the game using triggers, with specific name (from (variable-string))

i know,its possible to make in WEU,but its not work for me in WEU...
so i ask, is it possible to make this, just in JASS??

omfg,i just want to rename the SAVE GAME FILE

I find it supsrising that you are getting mad on someone that did nothing but trying to help you. Start expressing yourself better, instead of using txt tlk and unreadable sentences, and people will understand what you are trying to say.

Back on the topic train, I believe Chocobo got it right.

It's possible but it ends the game.
good!!! like in DIABLO 2 - SAVE and EXIT

btw it drops everyone from the game
bad... so its possible to DISCONECT only one player - who pressed SAVE GAME? or anyway all ppl will be disconeccted?


and one more question,why its possible to make in WEU, and impossible in JASS? or WEU-trigger* will force disconect too?

why do you say it's impossible in JASS?

btw, not only save and exit, it's save and quit game..

how to rename?
destination = C:\Program Files\Warcraft III right?
is this work for PICK EVERY PLAYER-loop?

It's for a single player game, right ? Also it's only if you have saved a another game with the diablo.w3z name before i think :p

omg,of course diablo.w3z file exist! (i am not so stupid) and of course i tested it in single player...

so, why does not work?

or maybe tell us what do you want to do, maybe there is another way to do it.

A few things:
1. I believe that the SaveGame natives only work as a response to a "game is saved" event.
2. It's possible that blizzard made so that you only can alter save games that the current game created.
3. Other limitations are likely.

Try without the .w3z ending and also try to use it on the Game is saved event and only on the save game file that was created on that event.
The save game natives are full of restrictions, I noticed it when doing my ladder tool, so don't put to much hope in them.
