Custom image as a border

Im wondering how to use a image as a border. I would make one specifically for it not like a photo lol... not sure how to explain.

like how http://kapao.webs.com/ has the nav bar followed to small grey outline.

i would like to know how to make the nav bar and a different image rather than the grey bar

I don't see any borders there.
And as far as I know, it isn't possible.

that's done by giving multiple background images to divs (only 1 background image per div) using CSS, basically each div has it's own background, and are positioned using floats, like this would be an example of 1 of the background images

spose ill start learning CSS.

So is are the words floated over the image or how would that all work.

The text is stored in a "div" (imagine it as a box). The div uses the image as the background.
