Here's a demon hunter skin I did in an hour. I know it's not that great.

He does, he hides them under his cloth because he's blind.

OO I'm smart. It looks like a pure/ghostly evil Demon Hunter, ghostly almost, if you did add strange ghostly sound effects it would be cool. Also its head looks long.

Well there are MANY problems with this.

  1. It makes no sense
  2. Monotone
  3. Not edited enough
  4. Bad quality
  5. Filters, filters, filters
  6. No shading on the "white thing"
  7. Weapon is a black horrible blob
  8. You didnt read any tutorials before you skinned it

Did you even look at it in-game? Plus this is my first skin and I really don't know how to use gimp. If you could point me to some tutorials on shading it would be appreactied.

I actually don't think it looks too bad when I test it out in the open WE.
Everyone looks to be judging it from the pixelated screenshot(s).

Though the close-up on the face looks horrible.
That definately needs more detail or something :p

I don't think this skin should be used with team color/glow. A screenshot where the demon hunter is owned by a neutral player will probably look better.

one thing you should improve is the skin coloration. You're using highly desaturated colours which are not exactly eye-candy. With it comes the lack of definition: since Wc3 models are low-poly, a large part of the plasticity of models is made by adding depth through shading the skin and brightening up the protruding parts. The blade for example looks like a single blob where it could need a strong highlight to define its shape.
