Disappearing Icon, please help!

I am working on an Hero ability called Holy Aura. What it does is heal nearby allies, and everything is working fine but the only problem is, is that once you learn the ability, the icon disappears and the ability goes away! The only reason I can think of why it is doing this is because I based it off Healing Ward Aura. Can you help me?

PS I already turned into a hero ability and set all the level stats and icons.

Well, I think that Healing Ward Aura is one of those abilties that does not show its icon. I don't think you can make it show the icon, either. At least, I don't know how. It's like Item - Damage Bonus.

Ok, that makes sense, but what I need now is how do i make the icon show up?

You can't make that icon to show up.

Some item spells cannot be made to be hero spells,
and they will never show icon.

You can avoid this by making a dummy spell that does nothing
(channel is a good choice obviosly)
and when you first time research dummy spell
you add that item ability to a hero with a trigger

then every next time you lvl up dummy spell you
increase item ability level with a trigger.

alternative method:

put your item ability in a spell book and give spell book ability to a hero.
when you level up spellbook again with a trigger lvl up item ability for hero
