Dummy Casting Channel, Apply Buff?

I'm positive the spell is cast on my here, but it is not applying the Buff set in the object editor. Any reason for this??

Only spells that have buffs by default give buffs (I'm pretty sure of this). I'd use something else like inner fire if you need a buff

The spell Channel can't and won't show any buffs applied to it. I suggest using another spell.

Alright, thanks a lot. Inner Fire was my first thought, or Frost Shield. It was suggested I use Channel.

I don't understand why Blizzard programmed some things the way they did....
