I'm trying to get a get a dummy caster to cast a spell on every unit in an area. However, when there are units in the group that the spell cannot target, (in this case, mechanical or hero units), the cast fails for all subsequent units.
Examples:
1. 4 footmen in the targeted area: the dummy casts successfully on each.
2. 1 mechanical unit and three footmen: the spell works for some of the footmen. I think the spell works until the dummy tries to cast on the mechanical unit, at which point it fails and no longer casts on any of the remaining footmen in the group.
3. 1 hero and 3 footmen. The cast doesn't work for any unit. My guess is that heroes come first in the group, so therefore the cast fails right away and since all the targetable units come later in the group, the cast fails for all.
So the core question is why is the dummy not casting on subsequent units once it has a failed cast, and how do I change this?
