Edit line

Here's a strange little question. You know how sometimes when you edit your post (if your not an admin or mod, of course) you get that little line at the bottom saying "This post was last edited by So and So on Whenever"?

How come that only appears sometimes? I just edited a post a few minutes ago, but it didn't pop up. However, many times I notice it there.

Is it just random?

Should I even care at all?!

I think it's based on the length of time between the post and the edit, but I'm not sure.

That is correct SilverHawk. It depends on how long of a time exists between you posting and editing.

Ah, that would explain it then. It didn't show up when I edited RIGHT after posting...Happened to notice a little grammatical error and went back...
