Nono, i copy feedback, remove ALL ANIMATIONS, then add for example raise dead animation on when mana gets stolen from target ,but ingame it still has the old animation -.-
Make a spell based on Channel, change self-considering values to your liking. Then create a trigger that destroys some mana from target, makes effect and lightning. I think that's all it takes.
To trigger this you would have to be familiar with 'damage detection' triggering. There are numerous examples on this Forum.
Copy Critical Strike. Set it to 0% chance. Then detect damage via trigger coming from a unit with your ability. Then the animation would come from a dummy spell cast on the target.
I'm on a page about incorrect corrections, and spent the better part of like two hours trying to get someone to understand that -5^2 = -25, not 25, and then that post had comments get reposted because that group is self sustaining, and that person was in turn trying to explain what I just explained to them.
