give custom stats to hero, from trigger or jass

Hey.

how do i make a trigger/jass that can add stats to my hero like.

damage
armor
ATspeed
Mspeed
and other things

If- unit acquires x item
Then-Add slow aura to triggering unit
Add devotion aura to triggering unit
Else-

u cant add aura to units by triggers

It's in the Abilities in object editor, make whatever ability, go to items then add the ability to that item

trigger.... meh that's such a headache when it's so simple

kikac, well i ment in a spellbook. Guess i didnt clarify it. But yeh alternativly you can do what firezy said. Make custom item effects and give it to the item

i dont want auras, cos if i want exm. one item that has 2 armor and another one that got 7 armor i will need to make 2 abilities, and if i got arround 1000 items, i will have over 5000 abilites :/

I seen it from BX-TRSII map.

so i know it is possiable. the only problem i dont know how to make it :/
