Good Idea??

Hi, I'm making a new footman wars map, and I was wondering what you guys here though about an idea I had. Most maps, if you choose a race, have you choose once the game starts, but I found that it would actually work well with my map if i set it up so players would use the standard race selection before the game starts.

How does this idea sound, do you think it would make it harder for teams to coordinate any sort of strategy, or do you think it would be a quick and easy way to take care of race selection w/out any hassles?

... the only thing I have to say is "Don't make a footman wars". Although that is just my opinion.
